All CRMS students will be taking PARCC (Partnership of Assessment for College and Careers) from April 12 - 22. These tests are one measure of how well our students know the Colorado State Standards. These assessments provide valuable data to the students and teachers about academic progress. This data helps us plan instruction to meet the needs of each student. This year students will be taking fewer tests than in the past. 6th and 7th Grade students will be taking the English Language Arts (Reading/Writing) tests as well as the Math tests. 8th Graders will also take the Science tests as a part of CMAS (Colorado Measures of Academic Success)

Our testing schedule has been created to maximize instruction during testing days. On days students have to test, they will attend all classes in order, with the addition of a small testing window that is built into the day. They will have their elective classes at their normal times and extra-curricular activites will not be affected.

Please continue to support your children and our school by encouraging them to do their best, but helping them understand that they don't need to worry or stress over it. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school at 303-833-4176.
