Heart Smart

Coal Ridge Middle School is excited to once again support the American Heart Association and Hoops for Heart!  Your children have the opportunity to celebrate being heart heroes through fun physical activity and optional donations to support kids with sick hearts while earning thank-you gifts in the process.  You can get registered now by searching Coal Ridge Middle School at www.heart.org/hoops.  You can also join the fun by downloading the mobile app and search for Jump/Hoops.  Thank you for joining together to be heart heroes for the American Heart Association.  Coal Ridge Middle School has heart!

Dawson Summer Initiative Program

The Dawson Summer Initiative Program for high achieving students is a unique tuition free program open to 6th and 7th graders and held at the Alexander Dawson School in Lafayette.

It will take place from June 8 - July 10th; 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and tuition, transportation and meals are provided through the Alexander Dawson Foundation.

There is a twelve page application that must be submitted by February 19th.  It includes a teacher recommendation plus a counselor or principal recommendation. Also the student must write an essay. Art News

If you missed it during conferences, make sure you check out all the amazing new student artwork on display around the upper level of the commons. There are Abstract Animal Drawings from 6th grade, Optical Illusions from 7th grade, and Cubist Paintings from 8th grade.

Band News

Band instrument mini-lessons during conferences can be scheduled by contacting Mrs. Meier or with the Main Office.

Attention all parents:  Please log into Infinite Campus weekly to keep up on your child’s progress and grades. If any contact information changes or is incorrect, please let us know. Please call the main office and ask for Traci if you are unable to access your student’s Infinite Campus account.

The book is almost completed, but we wanted to give you all a sneak peek at some of the contents of the book with our new commercial! Check it out here!!

We are hard at work and will be posting announcements, updates on our progress, some of the many pictures we are taking and maybe even some sneak peeks at the book. If you like us now, you will be able to see a sneak peek of our book’s theme and cover!

Want to access many of the amazing yearbook photos? Do you have some awesome photos of school events that you think we should see?? On your smart phone (Android and iOS) or iPad, download the Replay It app and you will be able to access the hundreds of pictures that the yearbook staff has taken, and also upload your own! You can also go to www.replayit.com to create your account and get in on the fun!!

School fees and RevTrack

Class fees have been loaded, please log into IC or Revtrak to pay your student fees.  These fees can be paid on line with a credit card at: https://stvrain.revtrak.net/tek9.asp?

Lunch accounts

Lunch accounts can also be paid on line at: myschoolbucks.com   This is a new website.  

You may also send cash or check to school and it will be put into your student account.  Write checks to CRMS.  Please fill out a Free/Reduced form if needed.  They are available in the main office.

Homework Club

Looking for a quiet place to work with a teacher available for questions? Then Homework Club is for you! No need to sign up but once you check in you must stay until 4 p.m. unless an adult signs you out. This year all grade levels will meet in the IMC where two teachers and all of the media resources will be available.
