These classes embrace curriculum and instruction that:
We will use a variety of data sources to place students into advanced classes. We will look at PARCC and iReady scores; we are looking for those students who score in the upper proficient to advanced range. We will also look at grades and SRI scores. Gifted and Talented identification will also be used to determine eligibility for placement into advanced classes.
Coal Ridge also has a wide variety of student support programs for English Language Learners, students with Autism, students on Individualized Education Plans, as well as other classes to support students in reading, writing, and math.
Along with our Core Classes, we offer many elective choices including: Art, Physical Education, Applied Technology, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Choir, Orchestra, Guitar, Spanish, Yearbook, and Health.
