"The National Junior Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1929." - www.njhs.us

At CRMS students are expected to volunteer 8 hours at school and 8 hours out of school. Last year our group volunteered for over 1600 hours! NJHS also runs the canned food drive and fundraiser for the Weld County Food Bank each December as well as other donations throughout the year. Last year our donations to the food bank and the Leukemia and Lymphoma society totaled $400. NJHS helps to create a sense of community within school by hosting a dance as well as other events. NJHS meets on Thursdays after school, for more information contact Ms. Nevarez.
