Beginning of the Year FAQ 2019-2020

When and where can I get my class schedule?Schedules will be available on Infinite Campus on MONDAY, August 12 at 8:00 am.  You can access Infinite Campus by clicking here.If you are having problems accessing Infinite Campus please contact Traci Banker in the front office at banker_traci@svvsd.org or 303-833-4176 for help. When will my child get their iPad?8th Grade Students will get their iPads on Monday, August 12 from 11:00 – 4:00 pm.  6th Grade Students will get their iPads on Tuesday, August 13 during the school day.7th Grade Students will get their iPads on Wednesday, August 14 during the school day. What do I need to do before I can get my iPad?7th and 8th grade students who received an iPad last year will only need to sign up for the iPad insurance ($25) by clicking here.  To find out more information about what the district iPad insurance covers, click here.All students that are new to Coal Ridge, including 6th grade students, will need to print, sign and bring in the Student iPad User Agreement before they can get their iPad.   Before getting the iPads, students and parents should take a moment to read through St. Vrain Valley School’s Student Expectations and Commitments for iPad useWhat is happening on the first day of school?Tuesday, August 13 will be the first day of school for 6th grade students ONLY. Please do not bring any school supplies as this is an introductory day in which students get to learn about becoming a middle school student.Wednesday, August 14 all grades will begin classes with the regular daily bell schedule. What is the daily schedule?School begins at 7:45 am and dismisses at 2:55 pm.  The daily bell schedule can be found here. What supplies do I need for school?Middle school supply list can be found here. When is Picture Day?Picture day will be on Thursday, August 22.  More information will be given out once school begins. When is Back to School Night?6th Grade Back to School Night will be on Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.7th and 8th Grade Back to School Night will be on Wednesday, Aug. 21 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.

ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool
