Dear St. Vrain Valley Community,

Public education is the cornerstone of our democracy. The impact of our schools and their role in shaping the future success of our society extends far beyond the smart boards, desks and walls of our classrooms. From economic development, to national security, to home and commercial property values, to business and corporate development, and community growth, our public schools provide a strong foundation for advancing the quality of our lives and the direction of our future.

St. Vrain Valley board approves enrollment boundaries for new Erie, Frederick schools

Parents looking to make school choice decisions or get more involved in planning for St. Vrain Valley's two new schools can move forward now that official school boundaries are in place.

The St. Vrain Valley School District on Wednesday unanimously approved enrollment boundaries for both the 900-student PK-8 school in Erie and the 525-student elementary school in Frederick's Wyndham Hill neighborhood.

CRMS Open House and Student Showcase

Coal Ridge will be hosting an Open House and Student Showcase night on Thursday, November 9 from 6:00 - 7:00pm.  Stop by and see the amazing things our students and staff are doing!

Safe Driving Pledge nets SVVSD Teacher $20,000 from California Casualty

 
November 1, 2017, Firestone, CO – Taking a pledge to avoid distracted driving has paid off for Christy Clark-Weese. The PE teacher at Coal Ridge Middle School in the St. Vrain Valley School District in Firestone, Colorado, is the recipient the $20,000 grand prize in California Casualty’s Promise to Drive Focused sweepstakes.
 
Clark-Weese said taking the pledge to stay focused while driving was very important.

How Can You Get Involved in Carbon Valley?

Carbon Valley Communities That Care is looking for members and Volunteers. The Carbon Valley Communities That Care is an empowered coalition that support youth through prevention efforts, building strong leaderships that inspire caring and resposible future leaders. The Carbon Valley Communities That Care Coalition is looking for members and parent volunteers. An orientation to find out more about the coalition is being held on Thursday, November 30th from 5:30-7:30 at the Carbon Valley Regional Library.
