Attendance Matters!
Families play a key role in making sure students get to school safely every day. Help your child understand why attendance is so important for success in school– and in life–and STRIVE FOR FIVE or fewer absences!
Our goal this year is to ensure that every student attends school regularly, meaning five or fewer absences over the course of the school year. We realize that some absences are unavoidable due to health problems or other concerns. But by planning ahead to minimize avoidable absences, students are more likely to have regular attendance in spite of the occasional illness. We are here to help and will be reaching out after 2 or 3 absences. We appreciate your help in partnering with us so that we can focus on every student, every day.
If your student will be absent for an extended period of time, please fill out an Extended Absence form and return to the office.
