Principal’s Update

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are already halfway through the first quarter.  If you have not already signed up for conferences, please click on the link below and sign up today.  We look forward to meeting with you and your child to discuss his/her academic progress.

On Monday, September 25th, our Superintendent, Dr. Haddad, will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting from 5:30 – 7 pm at Frederick High School.  This is a great chance to meet with Dr. Haddad, our Frederick Feeder Principals, and our school board members.

Next week we will be giving our 22-23 4th quarter honor roll students their certificate and a treat.  As you have conversations with your middle schooler about the end of the quarter, October 12, you can discuss GPA (grade point average) and honor roll.  We will be recognizing our students’ achievements in the following ways.

3.0 and higher will receive a certificate and have his/her name in the newspaper    3.5 and higher will also be invited to participate in an after-school celebration in November that will include a movie and popcorn.                                                            4.0 and higher will also be recognized with a bulletin board displaying their favorite quotes.

I hope your family is able to spend some time outdoors during this beautiful fall weather.

Sincerely,

Liza
