Principal’s Update

March 31, 2023

We are now headed into the final quarter of the 22-23 school year. Next Wednesday, April 5, is a PLC late start and we will be training our staff for the spring CMAS assessment. Please encourage your child to do his or her best on this assessment as the data gives us (and you) valuable information on how they are performing in relationship to their peers across the state. We use this data to set school goals and improve our instructional practice. If you have any questions about the assessment, please do not hesitate to give me a call or send me an email.

We currently have our registration open for our summer programming, Project Launch. This is a fun, enriching opportunity for students to keep up on skills over summer break. Classes are small in ratio 1:20, include electives and enrichment activities as well as are taught by highly qualified teachers instructing grade level standards in math and English. This amazing program includes breakfast, lunch, transportation and is absolutely free! Please sign up today as we are limiting enrollment at 40 students per grade level for our current 6th and 7th grade students. For more information see the story below.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and find time to enjoy the outdoors.

Sincerely,

Liza

We will be using a modified schedule. The modified bell schedule for CMAS testing can be found using the link below.
