Get Ready for Spirit Week!

Next week, we are hosting a school-wide Spirit Week! We can’t wait to see the creativity and energy our students bring to each themed day.

Here is the lineup for the week:

  • Monday: Sports Day – Rep your favorite professional team, local club, or your own jersey!
  • Tuesday: Twin Day – Grab a friend (or a group!) and dress in matching outfits for the day.
  • Wednesday: Band Shirt/Music Day – Celebrate your favorite artists or musical genres by wearing a concert or band tee.
  • Thursday: Color Craze – Let’s see which grade has the most spirit! Each grade level is assigned a specific color to wear:
    • 6th Grade: Red
    • 7th Grade: Blue
    • 8th Grade: Black
  • Friday: School Spirit Day – Deck yourself out in our school colors and show everyone what it means to be a Redhawk!

We encourage everyone to participate and help make this a week to remember. Let’s make it a great one!

Meet the CRMS Staff: Red Hawk of the week

Each week, we’ll shine the spotlight on a member of our amazing staff, giving our families a chance to learn more about the people who make our school special.

Meet Ms. Lexi Youngren

A person in a bright yellow jacket smiles for a selfie by a river with mountains in the background under a clear sky.

Lexi Youngren, Literacy

Hi! My name is Lexi Youngren, and I am Coal Ridge’s Literacy Interventionist. My favorite part of my job is that I get to work with students in a unique setting that allows me to build authentic and meaningful relationships with each student, which makes watching them learn and grow in their literacy journey even more special.

Outside of school, you’ll usually find me skiing in the winter or backpacking in the summer. I also love picking a random spot on the map and traveling somewhere I wouldn’t normally choose. Along the way, I’m always reading, writing, and collecting stories from the places I end up.
