Principal’s Update
April 27, 2023,
Dear CRMS Parents and Guardians,
Today our 8th grade students enjoyed a field trip to either Frederick or Mead High School. This was another opportunity for students to get acclimated with the new building and schedule. Please take a few minutes to ask your child about the experience. In HS they will have an A day/ B day schedule and will have the opportunity to participate in many more activities. We are encouraging all of our students to get involved in at least one advanced class and one extra curricular activity. If you have any questions about high school, the transition, or high school graduation requirements, please feel free to email me.
Next week we are excited to celebrate our National Junior Honor Society members at our induction ceremony. Students who completed the application process successfully were given invitations to the ceremony today.
Finally, please join me in celebrating our teachers next week for teacher appreciation. On Saturday evening Mrs. Lyddan, Mrs. Cavender, and Mrs Dufour will be honored as the CRMS teachers of the year by the St. Vrain Education Foundation.
Please remember that tomorrow is a non- student contact day and enjoy the weekend.
Sincerely, Liza
School will be closed on Friday, April 28, and we will have a Late Start Day on Wednesday, May 3.

Dear parents of Coal Ridge Middle School,
We are contacting you on behalf of the yearbook committee because we would appreciate it if you would participate in our sales. Having a yearbook makes it so you are able to look back on the memories of your child’s middle school years, and watch how they have grown since 2023. The theme of this year’s yearbook is “Linked” and how we, as a community, will always have some sort of tie with this school year. Between friends and opportunities and fun memories, having a yearbook brings a solid tie or link to everything that happened in the 2022- 2023 school year, if you choose to purchase one for $49.
