Principal’s Update
Dear Coal Ridge Parents and Guardians,
It has been an exciting couple of weeks and all of our teachers are back in the building preparing for the new school year.
We look forward to having all of our students back in the building next week. Schedules will be opened on Monday afternoon in Infinite Campus. We will make any corrections that first week of school and will finalize all schedules by Friday, August 18th.
Teachers have been busy planning and preparing engaging and rigorous lessons for the 23-24 school year. To support that work, we will continue our policy of keeping personal devices off and away during the day in order to keep our focus on education and socialization. If your child needs to contact you during the day, we have phones available in every classroom and in the office. Additionally, we request that you do not text your child during the school day. We encourage parents to either email during the school day or call the office if they have a message that is time sensitive. We sincerely appreciate your support with this.
We will continue to host a diverse and robust after school program this year. Our goal is to have each and every student involved in at least one after school program. Please see our calendar in this bulletin each week for more information about the activities that week. Girls Volleyball is our first after school intramural program. Sign – up for Volleyball is next week and practice will begin on August 21st.
As always, please reach out to me if you have any questions or suggestions.
Sincerely,
Liza
