Coal Ridge Middle School Weekly Bulletin

Our Unified Basketball team had a great week as they competed in our home game on Monday versus Mead Middle School, Trail Ridge Middle School, and Timerbline’s Unified Basketball teams.

Principal’s Update

Dear Parents and Guardians,

A huge shout out to the parents who volunteered and helped with the 8th grade dance last week.  Our 8th graders had a wonderful time and the dance was a big success.

Additionally thank you to our amazing small but mighty PTO who organized our staff appreciation week.  Sunny Fitzgerald, Heidi Cloud and Hillary Gedeon went above and beyond to support our staff this week.  Thank you to all of the parents and businesses who donated time, goods and money to our staff appreciation week.

Once again, this summer we will be offering Project Launch as a summer opportunity for learning.  The program is completely free and includes breakfast and lunch as well as transportation.  This is not the traditional “summer school”.  In addition to having time each day to hone math and reading skills, we build in STEM time, games/activities and mindfulness.  PL runs Monday – Thursday from 7:45 am – 1:45 pm June 3 – 27.  Please sign up now as we have limited slots available for our current 6th and 7th graders.

Have a great weekend!

Liza

Huge Thank You!

The PTO and teachers would like to thank all the small businesses who helped support Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. The PTO also couldn’t have done it without the help of many of our parents, family, and friends!
