Where Excellence Soars

Our choir concerts were absolutely amazing! The students’ hard work and dedication truly shined through in every performance. Their confidence, harmony, and stage presence made for a memorable evening, and it was clear how much time and effort they put into preparing. We are so proud of our talented singers and grateful to everyone who helped make the night such a success!
Track and Field season is right around the corner! These sign-up posters are hung up around the school, so please remind your students to check them out and sign up if they’re interested in participating. It’s a great opportunity to get involved, stay active, and show some Red Hawk pride! 🏃♂️🦅
See poster below for more information.

Reminder: Students are not permitted to wear earbuds throughout the entire school day. Earbuds may only be used in specific classes when a teacher has given permission for instructional purposes. Outside of those approved times, earbuds should be put away.
Thank you for helping us maintain a focused and respectful learning environment!
The Coal Ridge Middle School Parent Advisory Group (PAG) is excited to celebrate our incredible teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week, Monday, May 4th – Friday, May 8th!
Our goal is to show heartfelt appreciation to the amazing educators and support staff who pour their time, energy, and dedication into our students every single day. Throughout the week, PAG will be organizing special treats, surprises, and meaningful gestures to recognize their hard work and commitment.
We invite our CRMS families and community to partner with us by making a donation to help make this week extra special. Every contribution—big or small—helps us show just how much our teachers and staff are valued.

Pic of the Week

Meet your Educator of the Year, Ms. Reavis! Her vibrant personality, youthful energy, and spunky spirit light up our school every day. As our choir and drama teacher, she brings creativity, enthusiasm, and heart into everything she does. Students love being in her class because she makes them feel confident, valued, and excited to perform. Her passion for music and theater is contagious, inspiring students to step out of their comfort zones and shine both on and off the stage.
Be sure to come support her talented students at the upcoming musical Matilda on April 2nd and 3rd—it sure to be an incredible show! 🎭🎶

🆘 SOS: Kleenex & Hand Sanitizer Donations Needed! 🤧🧴
Cold and flu season is here, and we are going through tissues fast! Our classrooms are in need of Kleenex and hand sanitizer to help keep students comfortable, healthy, and learning without interruption.
If you’re able to donate a box of tissues or a bottle of hand sanitizer (or a few!), please have your student bring them to the front office or give them to their advisory teacher. Every donation truly helps and is so appreciated.
Thank you for answering our SOS and helping keep our school healthy! 💙
Meet the CRMS Staff: Red Hawk of the week
Each week, we’ll shine the spotlight on a member of our amazing staff, giving our families a chance to learn more about the people who make our school special.
Meet Ms. Emma Rago

7th Grade Science
This is my fifth year at Coal Ridge Middle School, and I truly love being part of this community!
I enjoy teaching middle school science because I get to help students discover the science in the world around them. Watching their curiosity grow—and hopefully spark a lifelong passion for learning—is the best part of my job.
When I’m not at school, you can find me traveling, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.
