Where Excellence Soars

Help us Keep CRMS dart free!

We wanted to make families aware of a recent TikTok trend that has made its way into schools, encouraging students to create paper “darts” using sticky notes and small pieces of metal. Today, we met with all students to discuss why this behavior is unsafe and disrespectful to our school environment.
Our goal is to partner with families to ensure this trend ends quickly. Moving forward, any student found making, possessing, or throwing these darts will receive an after-school detention on Mondays from 3:00–4:15 p.m.
We appreciate your support in reinforcing respectful and responsible behavior at school.
Community Food Drive
Coal Ridge Middle School is partnering with Frederick High School to run a community food drive. From November 10-14 student volunteers will be at the drop-off and pick-up lines next week to pass out flyers and collect donations. We are grateful to our community and are excited to be able to give back!

Meet Ms. Vidal

Media Clerk
Celebrating 25 years at Coal Ridge, Ms. Vidal plays a vital role in keeping our Media Center running smoothly. From checking books in and out to troubleshooting student iPads and submitting work orders, Kathy ensures that both our technology and library stay in top shape. She especially enjoys helping students solve iPad issues and seeing their excitement when everything works again. Outside of school, Kathy is a talented artist who loves painting dramatic landscapes inspired by the beauty of mountains, sunsets, and the rich tones of Southwestern art.
