The orchestra concert was absolutely fantastic! Our student musicians showcased their hard work, talent, and dedication with a performance that truly impressed the audience. A huge thank you to our orchestra students and director for sharing such a wonderful evening of music with our school community — we are so proud of you! 🎻👏

Reminder: Students are not permitted to wear earbuds throughout the entire school day. Earbuds may only be used in specific classes when a teacher has given permission for instructional purposes. Outside of those approved times, earbuds should be put away.

Thank you for helping us maintain a focused and respectful learning environment!

Heart-Strong Students at CRMS! ❤️

This past week in Health & Fitness, our students became everyday lifesavers! They learned Hands-Only CPR and why AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) are so important in an emergency. Students practiced the two key steps: call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest — simple actions that can truly save a life.

This learning ties directly to our participation in the American Heart Challenge through the American Heart Association. Donations help fund CPR education, heart-health awareness, and lifesaving research for people of all ages.

Students participate in a community cleanup, collecting trash and walking outdoors on a sunny day.

Our NJHS students rolled up their sleeves and took pride in our campus during their recent clean-up day! From picking up litter to freshening up shared spaces, they showed what leadership and service truly look like in action. This is a reminder that energy drinks (such as Alani, Monster, Celsius, and similar beverages) are not allowed at school. These drinks contain very high levels of caffeine and stimulants that can increase heart rate, cause anxiety and headaches, and make it difficult for students to focus and learn. They can also lead to dehydration and sleep problems, which greatly affect school performance and behavior. Please help us by ensuring your student does not bring energy drinks to school and instead chooses water or other healthier options.

A Firestone Police truck with an eagle logo, surrounded by students and officers outside a school building.

We are excited to officially unveil our brand-new Red Hawk SRO truck! 🚔❤️ This eye-catching vehicle represents our continued commitment to student safety and strong relationships on campus. Having a visible presence during arrival, dismissal, and throughout the school day helps create an added layer of security and connection for our students and staff.

The Red Hawk truck isn’t just a vehicle — it’s a symbol of partnership between our school community and our Firestone Police Department SRO program. Be sure to check it out during morning drop-off and give a wave when you see it. We’re proud to have such great support keeping our Red Hawks safe!

🆘 SOS: Kleenex & Hand Sanitizer Donations Needed! 🤧🧴

Cold and flu season is here, and we are going through tissues fast! Our classrooms are in need of Kleenex and hand sanitizer to help keep students comfortable, healthy, and learning without interruption.

If you’re able to donate a box of tissues or a bottle of hand sanitizer (or a few!), please have your student bring them to the front office or give them to their advisory teacher. Every donation truly helps and is so appreciated.

Thank you for answering our SOS and helping keep our school healthy! 💙
