Pic of the Week

A speaker addresses a large group of students seated in a school auditorium with a modern design.

Our 7th graders had a unique opportunity to hear directly from Firestone mayor Don Conyac during a special assembly! After writing thoughtful letters in social studies class as part of their civic participation lesson, the mayor was inspired to visit and answer their questions. It was an awesome real-world connection that brought their learning to life and showed students the power of their voices in the community. A special shout-out to Mrs. Seeger for making this happen!

Meet the CRMS Staff: Red Hawk of the week

Each week, we’ll shine the spotlight on a member of our amazing staff, giving our families a chance to learn more about the people who make our school special.

Meet Mrs. Sara Zaruba

8th Grade History

Sara Zaurba is an 8th grade history teacher who has been a valued part of our school community for the past 11 years. She brings passion and energy to her classroom, helping students connect with history in meaningful and engaging ways.

Outside of school, Sara is a busy mom to three awesome kids who keep her on the go with all kinds of sports. When she’s not cheering from the sidelines, she’s coaching her daughter’s cheer team and staying actively involved in her kids’ activities.

In her free time, Sara loves heading up to Red Feather Lakes for camping trips, where she can relax and enjoy the outdoors. One of her favorite parts of teaching is running into students out in the community—it’s a reminder of the strong connections she builds both inside and outside the classroom.
