Principal’s Update
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It was wonderful to have a chance to meet and speak with many of you at our back to school nights this week. Our next opportunity to connect will be for our Parent Teacher Conferences on September 28th and October 3rd. In the meantime, if you have a need to discuss anything, please feel free to call or email your teachers directly.
Our after school activities will start next week. The activity bus will run from Monday – Thursday at 4:15. For more information about the bus, please contact Jodi Marsolek.
Sincerely,
Liza
Home Volleyball Game
On Monday, Aug. 28, we will host our first home volleyball game against Altona Middle School. The games will begin at 3:30 p.m. Parents are invited to come to watch the game. Please enter the building from the courtyard side and use the door by the portable. Students are welcome to stay and watch the game. However, students will not be allowed to leave and return.
Please reach out if you have any questions.
Picture Day – Aug. 29
Picture Day will be on Tuesday, Aug. 29. We will call the students to the library when it is time for their picture to be taken.
Art Club
Art Club will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, August 30, from 3:00-4:15 p.m. in the Art Room. We will meet every Wednesday, and it is important to sign up beforehand for each meeting that you would like to attend, as space is limited. Please contact Mr. Abrahams at [email protected] if you have any questions.
Wired Headphones
As part of providing your children with a dynamite education, we utilize our online curriculums, and it is often necessary for students to use headphones to access the curriculum. We request that you send your child to school with wired headphones. We find that using wired headphones presents less distraction for students as the boundaries become clearer when to use the headphones and when not to use the headphones. We will have headphones for purchase in the library for $2.00.
