Dear Parents and Guardians,
This week we celebrate our Future City team who competed last week and earned third place overall. This weekend we wish our robotics team the best of luck in their competition.
Additionally we celebrate our Girls Bball team who will be having their final game Saturday morning. Wrestling practice begins next week. It is not too late to sign up. There are QR codes around the school and in the main office for sign up.
Parent teacher conferences are next Thursday, February 1st. Please see the link below to sign up. 8th grade parents, we would love to see you in the library from 5 – 5:30 for a brief presentation as well as an opportunity to ask questions about the transition to high school. No sign up is necessary for this presentation.
Enjoy the weekend.
Sincerely,
Liza

Parent-Teacher Conferences
Coal Ridge Middle School invites you to our winter conferences on Feb. 1 and Feb. 6. We look forward to using this time to continue strengthening our partnership with you. Each conference will be 10 minutes long and in person at Coal Ridge Middle School. Please note that we have limited availability and ask that parents with concerns please take this opportunity to schedule a meeting with their child’s teachers. For questions or concerns with scheduling, please call Traci Banker (303-833-4176) in the front office. We will have Spanish translation available for each night.
Hearing and Vision Screening
There will be a vision and hearing screening at Coal Ridge Middle School on January 29, 2024, for all 7th grade students and students new to the school district. Your child(ren) may be on the list to be screened. Please encourage them to bring/wear their glasses to school on this day. If our screening indicates that your student needs further evaluation, you will be notified by mail. Please contact your health clerk if you have questions or concerns.
