Principal’s Update

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are already 4 weeks into the third quarter.  Please continue to work with your son/daughter in building strong academic habits by setting specific goals each week, by using the planner daily, and by checking Infinite Campus together at least once a week.  We are currently working to plan a 3rd quarter celebration for all of our honor roll students.

Some exciting news!  The FHS choral director, Kevin Brown and his music support, Christopher Parr have volunteered to step in and lead our musical, The Little Mermaid Jr.  They are working on a rehearsal schedule this weekend and there will be more communication about this on Monday.  A big thank you to our amazing Frederick feeder teachers for supporting our students and this production.

Thank you to everyone who came to parent teacher conferences last night.  We have one more evening of conferences next Tuesday, February 6th.  If you need help signing up, please call Traci Banker at 303-833-4176 and she will assist you.  8th grade parents, we would love to see you in the library from 5 – 5:30 for a brief presentation as well as an opportunity to ask questions about the transition to high school. No sign up is necessary for this presentation.

Sincerely,

Liza
