Parent Corner: Ending the Year Strong
With just two weeks left in the school year, now is the perfect time to talk with your child about finishing strong. Daily attendance is crucial—each day in class gives your child valuable opportunities to learn, complete assignments, and participate in activities that set them up for success. By encouraging your child to stay focused and come to school ready to learn, you help them build important habits of responsibility and perseverance.
We also ask for your support in checking Schoology and Infinite Campus regularly for any missing assignments or grades that need attention. Completing outstanding work now can make a real difference in your child’s progress. Please remind your child to leave toys and distracting items at home so they can concentrate fully in class. Working together, we can help every student make these last two weeks both meaningful and successful!
Transportation For 2025-2026
St. Vrain’s Transportation Department is dedicated to consistently delivering excellent service for our students and their families and we are currently preparing for the upcoming school year. If you are interested in having your child ride the bus for the 2025-2026 school year, please apply for transportation services as soon as possible. St. Vrain’s Transportation Department makes every effort to accommodate as many eligible riders as possible.
Book Fair
May 5-16 from 7:45 am – 3:30 pm
Get ready—the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school! This is a great opportunity to connect with your child over the thrill of bringing home new books to dive into again and again. Studies show that kids read more when they choose books for themselves. A love of independent reading boosts academic success, plus children who read more frequently also report improved mental health.
Using the link below, you can set up a Book Fair eWallet, the digital payment account that allows your child to shop for books at the Fair without cash. Then share your eWallet link so friends and extended family can add funds.
Many of us still remember the rush of finding the perfect book at a Scholastic Book Fair. I hope you’ll join your child at our school’s Fair and share a reading experience they’ll remember forever.
