Principal’s Update
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Last night we had our first PTO meeting. Please look for opportunities to support our community and school in the coming months. Our next meeting will be Thursday, November 16th from 5:30-6:30pm. These quarterly meetings are a fantastic opportunity to get connected with the school community.
On Monday, September 25th, our Superintendent, Dr. Haddad will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting from 5:30 – 7 pm at Frederick High School. This is a great opportunity to meet with Dr. Haddad, our Frederick Feeder Principals, and our school board members.
We would love to see you at Parent Teacher conferences on either September 28th and October 3rd. You can sign up using Meet the Teacher below. Conferences are in person and it is important that we stay on time. Feel free to schedule breaks in the schedule as needed to get from teacher to teacher. If you would like to have a team meeting with the teachers, please email them directly and they will get that scheduled. If you need any help signing up, Traci Banker in the main office can assist you @ 303-833-4176.
SVVS will have a booth at Miners Day tomorrow. Stop by and say hello!
Thank you as always for your support and suggestions.
Liza

Two to-do Items in Infinite Campus
Please take a couple of minutes to log into Infinite Campus to complete two tasks for us.
- Under More, please click on the right side where it says “Parent Permissions” and go through the list of permissions we need you to sign each year and acknowledge the Code of Conduct. Click here for more detailed instructions on how to sign the Code of Conduct.
- Under More, please select Fees and pay the $25 for iPad insurance. The window to be able to pay for iPad insurance closes TODAY, on Friday, Sept. 15. We believe that every student should have iPad insurance as this will protect your family from the expense of paying to repair the iPad if anything were to happen. Click here to learn more about the iPad insurance.
Art Club
Art Club will be every Wednesday, from 3:00-4:15 p.m. in the Art Room. We will meet every Wednesday, and it is important to sign up beforehand for each meeting you would like to attend, as space is limited. Students will need to sign up using their SVVSD email address. Please contact Mr. Abrahams at [email protected] if you have any questions.
