Ms. Cavender’s 8th-grade class is preparing for book talks on Monday, considering the meaningful character attributes of the protagonist.
Principal’s Update
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you again for all of your support through testing. We are now finished with the 23-24 CMAS testing.
As we go into the second half of fourth quarter, please encourage your son/daughter to continue to practice strong academic skills in every subject. We remind them often that by ending the year strong, they will be prepared to start the next year strongly as well.
Once again, this summer we will be offering Project Launch as a summer opportunity for learning. The program is completely free and includes breakfast and lunch as well as transportation. This is not the traditional “summer school”. In addition to having time each day to hone math and reading skills, we build in STEM time, games/activities and mindfulness. PL runs Monday – Thursday from 7:45 am – 1:45 pm June 3 – 27. Please sign up now as we only have 40 slots available for our current 6th and 7th graders.
Hope that you have a wonderful weekend.
Sincerely,
Liza
School will be closed Friday, April 26. Please enjoy this time with your kids.
