Principal’s Update

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Next week is the last week of the 3rd quarter.  Please spend the weekend checking final assignments with your son/daughter and have them reach out to the teacher to finalize any late work.

Track practice will begin next week.  Please reach out to Mr. Flynn if you have any questions about track or your child’s participation.  [email protected].

We are currently enrolling students for our third session of AAA math support.  It will run April 2nd – May 8th on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Please contact [email protected] if you would like to register your child.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Sincerely,

Liza

Students will be off of school March 18-22 for spring break.

Kindness Poetry

During their Advisory class this week, students were given an assignment to write an acrostic poem on kindness.

K  –  A gentle word, a listening ear

I  –  Including all, casting out fear

N  –  Noticing struggles, a helping hand

D  –  Doors held open, across the land

N  –  Nod of encouragement, a smile so bright

E  –  Empathy offered, making things right

S  –  Sharing what you have, spreading the light

S  –  Standing up for others, fighting what’s wrong
