Principal’s Update
Dear Parents and Guardians,
What a fantastic week! Due to our amazing Frederick High School theater department, Disney’s The Little Mermaid musical came to fruition this week. A huge thank you to Kevin Brown, Christopher Parr and our high school theater students for their help with this. There is one more show tonight at 7 pm. Please join us!
Reminder – NJHS applications went out last week. Applications are due no later than April 18th for membership in the 24-25 school year. Current members will be asked to resign the commitment form after they turn in all of the service hours that are also due April 18th. If you have questions please contact NJHS sponsors, Brittney Green or Jodi Marsolek.
Next week we are excited to have the opportunity to have students show what they have learned through the Colorado Measures of Academic Success. We will begin testing on Tuesday and will test each day first thing in the morning. Please help ensure your son/daughter is at school on time with a charged iPad.
Finally, if you did not get the chance to read the email communication sent out on March 25 regarding the eclipse, please do so.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Liza
CMAS Testing
On Tuesday, April 9, we will begin the CMAS test. The test will begin promptly at 7:45 am, so please help your students get to school on time. Students will be taking the CMAS test on their iPads, so we ask that they charge their iPads the night before to be ready for the test the next morning. For any student who comes to school with a device that is not charged, we need to keep their iPad at school to charge until the end of the testing period. After the test, students can read a physical book; please talk to your child about bringing a book to school. After we have finished testing, students will attend all of their classes on a modified schedule.
