Principal’s Update
Dear Parents and Guardians,
A huge thank you to our parents and students for a successful first week of testing. Having your child here on time every morning helps us stay on schedule with testing so we can get back to our coursework as quickly as possible. Students are working hard and we look forward to seeing the results of their efforts as we set goals for the 24-25 school year.
Don’t forget, NJHS hours and new member applications are due next Thursday, April 18th. Induction is scheduled for May 2nd at 6 pm. Due to the quick turnaround for induction, we will not be able to accept late applications or service hours.
Also next week, PTO will be meeting on Thursday, April 18th in the library from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Our focus will be on getting organized for teacher appreciation week which is May 6 – 10th. Please join us for planning or look out for emails from our small but mighty PTO.
Enjoy the weekend!
Sincerely,
Liza
CMAS Testing
We will continue our CMAS testing next week. All of our students will finish the Language Arts CMAS test on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Beginning on Wednesday, 6th and 7th-grade students will go back to a normal bell schedule while 8th-grade students take the science CMAS test on Wednesday through Friday. Please work with your child to make sure they are charging their iPad the night before and getting to school on time.
